Do you always use pronouns in Russian » NEWS 244



Maybe Duolingo wants teach something else but I wonder do you always use personal pronouns in Russian. In Turkish, in daily language we omit it because we have different verb conjugation for each person. So when you see the verb conjugation you are never confused about the personal pronoun.

I didn’t use it in this example Duo said it was wrong 🙁

  1. Your answer is acceptable, we do occasionally drop unnecessary words when the meaning can be derived from context. In this case it’s clear that it’s you giving the advice and not someone else.

  2. I believe it’s actually more common to say «Советую …» without the pronoun. But both could be used depending on context and preference.
