  1. It looks like really old Russian. I doubt someone without a special qualification can actually read it. Some words can be understood tho. It mentions Prince Vladimir so it is probably connected to Russian history.

  2. probably Old East Slavic judging from the apparent interchangability between ꙗ /ja/ ~ ѧ /ję/ and оу,ꙋ /u/ ~ ѫ /ǫ/

It could be another Old Slavic variety but I don’t know anything about any of the others but it’s definitely not Old Church Slavonic because too many of the ь and ъ are missing.

I can’t understand it just from reading but pretty much all of these texts are stories about martyrs or other religious figures and the wonders that they did

  3. Looks like old church Slavonic, or a form of it. It is probably a liturgical text. like someone said, it requires some extensive training to read, but a cool book nonetheless

  4. The language name is Church Slavonic. It is not Russian, even not the same Slavic branch, but it was and still is the language of the Russian Orthodox Church. Pretty similar to Latin for the Catholic Church.

  5. I can see few familiar words, so it’s about Prince Vladimir doling out some religious prop to churches and preparing (not sure really) or just listing religious holidays
