  1. I’ve seen it written before like this, but personally I prefer to write it like a triangle with the bottom vertice slightly longer

  2. My russian friend also writes their д this way. Quite strange but it’s readable usually. The more common way in block handwriting is either «D» for uppercase and «∂» for lowercase, or «Δ» for uppercase and «^Δ» for lowercase, or in cursive you can just write «D» for uppercase and «g» for lowercase.

Edit: The Δ formatted weird, just imagine a smaller Δ

  3. Ah yes I also have a friend whose first language is Russian, but as she never studied it at school, only spoke it with her family, she never learned to write it. She wrote Д similar to that once, and I laughed more than I probably should have

  4. Whenever I write in print, I always just straight up draw д as is since I’ve practiced it enough times over the years. Though being on this subreddit long enough made me learn how to write in cursive in the Russian language which made me also learn how to write in cursive in English since I never learned how to do it either and now I pretty much always write in cursive for both languages.

  5. My brother writes his д’s like that (he finishes it with the horizontal line) and he’s in his 20’s. It looks normal but watching him write it gets on my nerves
